I dont see how Wiseman justifies passing up a deal like this, Wendell Carter might be better than whoever they take with their lottery pick himself

In that sense, I guess the Warriors stay put, if Ball or Edwards go #1 to just stay put and take Wiseman #2 and have your center.

Seems like too much of a risk for me though, because this draft is relatively weak at the top compared to normal. It's a deep draft, but the top picks are not as solid star status as they normally are in years past. Wiseman has the potential to be pretty good, but he also has a lot of unknowns and more questions than usual.

Warriors could trade that #2 pick for the #4 and Wendell. Walk away with Wendell Carter Jr and then draft Obi? Seems like a huge win to me, but you have that overpaid bum Draymond up there who is going to be making $25M+ a season for the next 4 years to average 7 PPG.

I doubt the wolves draft Wiseman, doesn't fit well and he has said he wants to be the go to 5 man / doesn't want to play for the wolves. I think the only way he is drafted by the wolves if for an immediate trade which is not impossible.

I would not bet surprised to see it traded. I think that's why they are so quite on their end is that they don't want anyone to know who they would pick if they keep it. So they could have more leverage in a trade. Most teams that pick number in most sports seem to have something leaked out by now on who they are leaning towards.
