Depends on the job.
Working this way you'll make about 60-65k a year pending on OT.
As an ENTRY LEVEL POSITION. No exp needed. You can be fresh out of high school for all I care. 18 year old walking straight into a 60k a year job isn't half bad.
After a year if you prove your worth to me. I can get you to 26.45 an hour.
Once you're out of my hands it'll be all up to you and how far you want to go. A CE5 in my company makes 65$ an hour.

I got better incentives than that in my job but I’d never recommend anyone to work where I work. It’s dogshit cancer boring
But I get a lot of down time so can mf pindle all day

I work for Applied Materials.
We're the biggest tool manufacture in the world.
We build tools for INTEL, Micron, TSMC, Samsung, AMD, Altera, etc. World wide company.
Basically the computer you're on, the phone you use, the car you drive, the microwave you used to cook your dinner.
Those chips can't be made without my company.

We also service said tools.
Keep in mind these tools are at least 30 feet high. As they run through multiple floors.

My group I'm the Program Lead for abatement.
To put it in a common term that most people will understand.
I'm one level below the CEO of a 20 million dollar company.(Applied materials as a whole is a 8b company? Something like that idr exactly.)

The reason why I can hire at the rate I do and say the things I do is because my group is the most profitable group in my company.

$20/hour in Portland is basically low middle class income

Up to $26.5 is decent then? Middle class?

I’m assuming alcohol and THC are the ones that are tested for mostly that are legal, as well as some prescriptions like xanax
