My 83 year old neighbour shoots better than Simmons

I mean...Draymond is a 27% 3pt shooter lol. He's an awful shooter.

Simmons just....doesn't even attempt them, just flat out refuses despite having solid form. Attempted and hit a few corner threes this past season then just stopped (even when left wide open).

Are you really trying to say Simmons can and will hit 3s if he just shot more?

From the corner? Absolutely. He's 5-for-8 from the corner or close hash area from 3pt in his career lol. He seems to be hot garbage shooting from straight on or closer to the top of the arc though. That's why everyone is so frustrated, because he can obviously be a threat from the corner on open threes if he'd attempt them more often....

The vast majority of his career 3PA are full or 3/4 court heaves at the end of the quarter, or with the shot clock expiring hail mary heaves, etc. I'm pretty sure like 75% of his career 3PA are heaves.

Want to hear a crazy stat? Ben Simmons attempted more full court heaves (shots attempted from 45 feet or further away from the basket) in his rookie year (0-for-7) than Kevin Durant has in his entire NBA career (0-for-6).

Whats so crazy about attempting a heave? It's just a fucking heave.

That in one season Simmons attempted more of them than Durant has attempted in his entire 13 year NBA career....

That's sort of a crazy stat.

edit: and i think that 0-for-6 from Simmons was in the early part of the season too LOL.

And yes, I know...KD is known for caring about his stats. He holds it and shoots after the buzzer every time so it doesn't affect his 3pt%.

Simmons listed at 31, which is a 10 spot drop from his listing last season (21).
