I mean he isn't wrong in the sense that it is overhyped. It reminds me of a hurricane nearing U.S boarders. The news blows it out of the water etc etc

with no vaccine and no way to realistically protect a portion of our population i'd say overhyped is a strong word

not sure you can just say "hey, young healthy people have fun, old preexisting condition folks, enjoy living in your basements"

I say there is 2 choices. Shut it down or make those said live in basements

do they get free delivery on all essential goods?

do they get to collect paychecks?

I know in many articles I read about people giving their personal experience from 'surviving' covid that many times when they initially went to the doctors they didn't even get tested and the doctor said 'you probably have covid'

so not that I at all agree with Trump, but based on the above evidenced criteria I kinda feel what he is saying about 'slow down the testing' although I only mean it in the least malicious way, if that is possible.

plus with how the media vets their inofrmation nowadays I wouldnt doubt if news sources get their material from other nws sources but inflates/round up for shock value and then another news source takes taht new inflated values and repeats th process, could also be true..

Of course the likely situation is simply the lack of precautions being taken by many people as reinforced by the Presidents speakings, which is showing to be causation or at least correlated to the large number of covid 19 cases in the US alone.

Northeast states imposing 14 day quarantine for visitors coming from out west and other hot spots in the south/west.

Northeast is currently doing well in comparison, not seeing increases or very minimal increases in comparison to California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, etc. where they're seeing massive spikes in cases. Funny part is New York, Maryland, NJ are all the most densely populated states in the Country too.

Time to build a wall keeping those dirty southern and west coast bums out.
