What's PP? I Know it stands for power play according to my score app but what does it mean?

How do u keep up with so many sports lol... I dont think i ever watched a full hockey game... same goes with tennis

The team on the PP has a man advantage. The other team took a penalty and have to play with one less player for a certain amount of time. Leads to goals for the team on the PP an average of about 20% of the time.
Kings weren't about to score though.

It's all I do nowadays. Mostly just the big four though. Hockey is my favorite sport followed by basketball.
