obviously u're still holding onto ur preconceived notion that the eastern conference playoffs aren't worthy of ur time. u should really get off ur high horse and realize that the teams in the "shitty east" and the not all that much "better" wizards are comparable and arguably better than ur blazers (i know, shit is mind boggling).

after 5 games of the 2014 playoffs:

-the blazers are shooting an average 45.8% against the rockets defense (ok i lol'ed). this is including the 2 career games that lma managed to pull out of his ass. 2 games in which mchale thought putting tjones on lma was a good defensive tactic. 2 games that ur almighty blazers BARELY won (even when the refs blatantly fucked up in the first game).

-the rockets are shooting an average of 44.66%. not to mention their best player is shooting an ANEMIC 34% from the field on 23.6 shots per game. throw in the fact that they're relying on dwight's post game, which although has improved, is far from consistent and the go-to option when u need a basket, and the trainwreck-waiting-to-happen otherwise known as jeremy lin, and i'd argue that u're playing against a team that is inferior compared to the bulls that u tried to belittle.blazers should have 4-1'd this rockets team if portland and "dame" (ok i lol'ed) is the holier than thou shit that u claim them to be.  but still, the rockets' manage to lead by double digits (or near double digits) in the fourth quarter of several of the games.

-the wizards shot 44% and averaged 94.6 pts (45% and 99.5 pts/gm if u disregard the last closeout game in chicago) vs arguably the best defensive team in the nba this season. i know this might be hard to admit for ur homer lemme-make-a-thread-bout-a-tweet-bout-another-player-only-to-indirectly-praise-"dame" (ok i lol'ed) ass, but the wizards are very much as good, if not better, than ur blazers/rockets.

now the last point:

let's compare harden and beal's respective playoff stats so far:

"and i hate beverly/harden/howard but it's true." how are u gonna claim that "it's true" when u dont watch the "irrelevant" eastern conference playoffs and the stats suggest otherwise? i'm not even gonna bother showing u the stats comparing parsons to ariza (ok i lol'ed)

The Washington Wizards do have a bright future but all I ever implied was that they'd have finished 10th, at best, if they played in the Western Conference. They would have been in the NBA draft lottery - where many people expected them to be entering the season - and not making some noise in the playoffs right now. Their second round matchup may or may not be a difficult challenge for them. As of right now I don't think anybody has much faith in the Hawks or Pacers in a potential matchup with the Wizards. Let's face it, the Wizards have somewhat of an easy road to the Eastern Conference Finals. And then what? Will we be treated to a great series with the Miami Heart or a quick 4-0 sweep? I'll give Washington a win or two at home, MAYBE.

I just think Washington fans should feel incredibly blessed and happy. Everything set up so perfectly for them.
