Milwaukee came into game 6 with the opportunity to close out Boston. Giannis had an epic game but his role players bricked open 3s. Happens

At least you witnessed Giannis ball out in a close out game and then come up with an L, I guess?

There’s a first time for everything

And the Celtics made it to the Finals only to get stonewalled by Andrew Wiggins. Both came out just as big of a loser at the end of the season 🍀

Yeah but the Bucks didn’t even get there, courtesy of the Celtics

And we will soon have 9x the franchise championships that the Bucks have

So it’s just a weird flex from your end, u no?

Edit: hand on my heart, bucks were a bigger loser when it all comes down to it. But you’re probably one of those guys who think it’s better to not even make the playoffs than lose in the championship series kinda guys. It’s sad but there is others like you out there. Hope you find the light at the end of the tunnel though pal 👍 xx

1 team wins the trophy and the rest don’t… better luck next year. Running Tatum into the ground probably isn’t going to work out too well eventually, but hey its the teams decision to give him the highest minutes in the league

So far that isnt true. They are running three of their star players above 40 minutes in a game against the Pistons two days ago for example, they’ve been doing that consistently to start this season off

Resting him less than 1 month in is obviously to help in May for sure  the way load management is handled compared to the past is just crazy nowadays. Don't need to sit JB and JT less than 1 month in.

Not worried about it right now. Just continue rolling early and it should be easy to give them proper rest over the last 1-2 months.

I hate how the mantra is Bucks were without Middleton so they were a superstar down. Like yes, Middleton is a pretty good player, and he saves his brilliant games for against the Celtics… but we really just ignore the fact that Rob missed that whole series as well?????? First few games we had fucking Lopez and Portis DESTROYING us in the paint and on the glass…. Yeah maybe Middleton is a (very marginally) better player than Rob… but Rob is waaaaaaay more important to his team than Middleton is to his. Rob would have absolutely erased these rat cunts at the rim. No questions asked.

Rob played in the first 3 games of the series. Played decent but obviously wasn't near 100%. Rob is the main guy to stop Giannis at the rim. Middleton is basically their closer. Idk who is more important to their team but both are significant pieces.

If I got to choose who to force to be out for the whole series on Boston last year it’d go in order of Tatum, Brown, Horford, Rob, Smart

Hypothetically the Celtics could load manage at the end of the season but if their prerogative is to go hard for the #1 seed they could pull a Thibs. So far signs point to them running their starters into the ground since last year

Should absolutely be going all out less than 1 month in. Season is over if the players already need load management. Only Horford and Brogdon need it all year.

3 absolutely correct statements

Last year was hard because we had to adjust to a new coach, with a new defensive scheme and we were fucked early because of it, thus relying on big minutes from starters with an insanely unproductive bench unit.

This year is different. The players are quickly gel’ing with a new coach (we were like 6-7 this time last season?) with great bench. We actually CAN go hard early and set ourselves up with a favourable seed and let our depth take the reigns late in the season while our JT and JB and other starters get their much needed late season rest before entering the playoffs

He can quite obviously handle it so it’s okay 👌
