Of course Jaylen doesn't believe Kyrie is antisemitic

Wonder if he would share the same view if a white player shared a video hating on some black people

This is just another attempt by the 1% to divide the population.
Irving showed his privilege.

It actually doesn't matter what he believes or wants to believe. As long as he wants to work for his employer the nba/brooklyn nets, they can enforce whatever rules they want to protect their brand. It's his choice to not get the vaccination and sit out the year and it's his choice to keep progressing through his current thought process but no one should complain on Kyrie's behalf when his employer wants to have financial consequence/suspend without pay. Pretty simple to me.

Definitely not thread, the punishment is excessive & now BK is trippen hard. You can be an employer all you want but we can also criticize you for being a shitty one. Essentially, sneaky firing an employee for made up punishment made out of thin air isn’t shit we should just accept. 500k donation & 6 different ways of ass kissing? Chill. He didn’t even go full Kanye.

Don't get me wrong, the reprimands Kyrie needs to make are definitely reaching and far-fetched, but at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. He's an employee to a company, and if said company's leadership disapproves certain behaviors/actions/speech, they're free to take action as they believe appropriate, no matter how far fetched.

FWIW, I think it's extreme too but what you and I think don't matter.

It does matter what we think because the industry they are in is dependent on public opinion. Entertainment. They also have to abide by certain NBAPA agreements that also is effected by public reaction & outcries from people do defend their employees better.

But we are both somewhat in agreement about the punishment not fitting the crime. We will see how it goes.

yes. you and I are in agreement on about 50% of it, and that's totally cool.

I wish it mattered what we, normal citizens think, but it doesn't. There are numerous examples (looking at the NFL mainly) where there was an uproar from fans, but it never impacted anyone's wallets and if there was an actual threat to the income, the person is gone (Kapernik). The NBAPA will absolutely have something to say at the next CBA, but as far as every day average Joe's opinion, not really.

Nfl is run by Roger GODdell so it works differently than the other major sports.

I agree with you completely,

but like in Hockey dudes that got suspended in highschool in grade 9 for being racist are being barred from playing in the nhl so call that as progressive as you can get.
