I regret leaving Kobe off. Kobe is my dude. But he's MJ 2.0 imo and MJ is just superior. So I left him off.

How many of you would've voted for Kobe and why?

version 2.0 is better than 1.0

Kobe wasn’t even the best player on his teams that won a championship. Outside of 1 of the times we won with Pau Gasol.

1 of the times Pau was better.

Shaq was always better

Kobe isn't even in the discussion, and never was.

Great player, you can argue top 10 no problem. But GOAT? Absolutely not even in that group.

Top 25. Not top 10

LBJ
Mj
Start to get into arguments below here:
Kareem
Magic
Wilt
Shaq
Bird
Duncan
Curry
Russell
Oscar
Durant < gross
Giannis < yes already
Hakeem
This is where you can start to realistically slot Kobe. And even then. If you look at his actually stats, he doesn’t even shoot current league average. Was just a volume scorer that was inefficient, much like most of Carmelo’s career. Kobe was just lucky to have a better supporting cast around him then Carmelo had.

And this doesn’t even mention the fact that the league and refs purposefully gave the lakers m and Kobe the series against the Sacramento kings that they should have lost. That was an atrociously called game that was a disgrace as the NBA was hunting for its next star after MJ left.

Mentioning Kobe as goat is laughable.

Dude isn’t even top 10
