He must have done plenty of research, considering Demi Moore who played GI Jane also happened to cheat on her husband, similar to Jada sleeping around. Making fun of someone who's bald with cancer is very different from someone that suffers from alopecia. Yes the hair loss is a similar symptom, but one is literally killing you while the other is a cosmetic inconvenience (more so for women than men).
Regardless of whether you thought the joke was in bad taste, it doesn't mean you can just physically assault someone based off how you emotionally react to said joke. I'm not sure if charges will be brought or not, but that's an easy way to get yourself into a lawsuit
