This was a regular season game against a .500 team fighting for their playoff hopes.

The fuck you mean big game?

We both know that Harden has had a problem of choking in big games his whole career
Ain’t a playoff game or anything but everyone knows this game was hyped and Sixers were the favorite to win.
Just admit that Harden is a choker

I mean he play against his old team
Are you insinuating that it was a meaningless game?
Nationally televised game vs a hyped team that’s somehow the favorite to come out the East?

Embiid played like shit too btw

Embiid the only one that showed up to play. 27/12 on 17 FGA isn't a bad night. Not his norm but still he was doing his thing through double and triple teams drawing fouls like crazy.

Showed up? He was 5/17 shooting.

James Harden finished 0-for-10 on 2-pointers against the Nets.

He is the 2nd player this season to go 0-for-10 on 2-pointers in a single game.

The other player is Russell Westbrook (Nov. 6 vs Trail Blazers).

  fucking bum

Hilarious seeing DM call this game "just another regular season game" against KD and Kyrie....but I had to hear that the 48ers are a Super Bowl matchup for my Cs?

Philly fans losing it after getting trade raped

27 points on 17 shots is good production, did you watch the game? That's just shy of 1.6 points per shot. I mean 27/12 on 17 field goal attempts is a down game for Embiid but a great game for most players, but still not an awful game for him.

Embiid is the only one that showed up. He was double and triple teamed all night as usual, and was forcing them to foul him as usual. Far from a great game for him, but definitely not awful. Anyone who gets to the line 19 times (15 times in the first half) is clearly doing well and giving the defense trouble....

Other players (ex Harden, Maxey, role players) didn't show up at all. Harris hit his shots but obviously weren't at the right time. Maxey 2-for-7, Harden 3-for-17, Thybulle 1-for-5.

See above.

19 free throw attempts is a great game. 27 points on 17 FGA is a good game as well.

Embiid showed up, nobody else did though. Anyone who actually watched the game knows this...

Made a thread for it because it's Ben Simmons return to Philly, who wasn't even playing lmao. Game was cool, expected a better matchup....but again, it's one game.

Looks like the Sixers were too busy feeding into the Simmons shit and the Nets came in motivated and hungry to make a statement. Not surprised they lost, just surprised they looked disinterested from the start.

All that hype and build up from Sixers fans. People were posting his location and photos of him at the hotel and driving around Philly. Tickets were anywhere from $200 minimum to $4,000+. Then by the 3rd quarter most fans booed their own team off the floor, and by the beginning minutes of the 4th, had emptied the stadium lmao.

But today they will all tell you it was a meaningless game and no one cared...
