Boston is definitely not better for sports overall. Their pro teams have won more Championships, sure, but they don't compare to Philly when it comes to producing great athletes. Philly is known as one of the best basketball cities (from HS to college) and obviously known as the fight town being known for the boxing as many of the all-time great boxers are from and/or trained. I mean the state of PA in general is a football and baseball powerhouse state too.

Boston pro teams had some pretty insane stretches of winning no doubt. Historically their pro sports teams have definitely been more successful in terms of Championships, no doubt about that. That has always led to a lot of bandwagon fans though through the years, where as a city with fans that are passionate and not winning proves they're die hard.

more black people --> great athletes for basketball and football. dont need a rocket scientist for this one

This is true

Only 25% of Boston is black, that's why they hate black people.

43.6% of Philly is black, and 44.8% white.

Philly also has wayyyy more people, more than double the size in terms of population. Like 680K vs 1.6M

Fuck the city life in general though, Suburbs >

accent is the worst though, THAT much is not arguable rofl.

Didn’t read any of that

Boston = 39 major sports championships

I don’t even have to Google Philly because I know it’s probably in the single digits cuz Sixers and eagles both suck lol!

tl;dr

Boston doesn't produce the amazing athlete that Philly does or have the level of sports fans, but they do have some good professional sports teams. And Boston accent sucks.

And Cheesesteaks > Clam Chowder nonsense

I’m yet to try a proper Philly cheesesteak but next time I come to America I’ll be sure to hit you and up head to Geno’s

But be sure that we are fighting to the death immediately after we dine together

All shit talk aside, clam chowder is good if that's your thing. You can definitely taste the difference in Boston compared to anywhere else imo. It's good stuff up there.

Cheesesteaks are hit or miss in Philly because there are so many god damn spots. You just gotta know where to go and not fall into the tourist traps where it's mediocre.

Get over to the U.S. during NBA season and we'll hit a Celtics/Sixers game so you can hear some shit talk. Hit em back with the Australian accent and they won't know what to do rofl

Philly and Boston are both up there, but nobody is topping Philly fans in the crazy, passionate, loud, obnoxious, asshole department. Nobody.

Boston accent is the wort though, easily the most annoying accent in America. Just sounds so painful, mf's can't even use the R in their sentences.

I think we all know the exception to that rule...
