Ray Allen
Yea, I mean Ray Allen, Larry Bird, and that other guy who can suck a dick are probably the only competition to Steph if you consider career and all aspects of shooting (Creating your own shot, getting open, catch and release)
I don't know how best 2 way-player would differ from best player. In my mind the 2 best players ever are Jordan and Russell. I mean Jordan's offense was incredible and he was great at defense. Russell was probably the best defender ever and was a good offensive player (but wouldn't count among the greats there).
Best pure scorer - I haven't watched enough players actually play their game to judge this. I mean there are unstoppable big men who could score at will and command a double team every time they get the ball. But they never get judged in this category since we think of people who can shoot effortlessly. The other problem is you have to decide whether efficiency gets judged here or whether it is the ability to create a basket at any time. Going with the classical thought and my limited knowledge I would have to go with Jordan or Bird here with Durant in the conversation. But if its the ability to create a shot without judging efficiency, you would have to think about Kobe (I mean he has the greatest scoring performance in NBA history and probably another one in the top 10 if not top 5) or Melo too. And then how do you discount Kareem or Wilt even though they didn't have as many weapons.
Best all around player: Again - lot of interpretation here. Jordan, Bird, Magic, Oscar Robertson all would have something to say about best all around if you're talking about ability to contribute in different ways.
