This is how you know LeBron is the goat

He’s 36 years old going into his 19th NBA season, and people are still criticizing him if he doesn’t win a chip like he’s in his prime

Because he’s still playing better than 95% players did in their prime

people are still talking about LeBron because it's better for their careers ; Skip, SAS, Cowherd, Wright, Shannon... they all get paid based off clicks and traffic

some of them like Cowherd and Wright started off criticizing LeBron many years ago but have since assumed the position on their knees because it pays more to suck off LeBron

I talk about LeBron because he's relevant to the sport I like to follow?

the topic is about why LeBron is criticized on a wider scale which obviously relies on journalism and media

Fans and media alike nitpick him over everything because despite how much you hate him you still know that he’s capable at any moment of being the best player on the floor, even at his age, with all the mileage he has on his body

I don't have the capacity to criticize him on a wider scale as I don't have the platform to do so

as an individual I criticize him because I plainly don't like him or respect him

fans and media alike also love to glorify him so it's a two way street. the way you talk about people hating him sounds like you believe it's baseless. we're talking about someone who is openly a hypocrite about social justice - BLM but fuck the people in Hong Kong because that could hurt my revenue if I said anything against China. annointing himself King James, not 1 not 2 not 3 - but 8 titles in Miami only to go 2 for 4 and dip the minute he perceived his team to not be stacked enough for his liking. the pseudo political wokeness he has gotten called out on like pretending to know anything about Nelson Mandela and Malcolm X but getting exposed for being a pretender.

losing to the Mavs is on par with MJ theoretically losing to the Jazz, didn't happen, not the goat
