Funniest part about this statement though..

With Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid on the court together in the regular season, the Sixers outscored opponents by 16 points per 100 possessions played (98th percentile). In the playoffs? They were +19.2 per 100 possessions (99th percentile).

+/- can easily be taken out of context.

You can look at box scores and see a role player with +/- of +20 in 7 minutes.

Yes, but over the course of a season it's usually a pretty good indicator when they're in the 98th percentile during the regular season and 99th percentile during the playoffs.

And I can cherry pick the FT % stat of Simmons being in the bottom 99th percentile
