if they let solomon hill, myers leonard and haslem walk in fa (which they should, they're all making way too much money) and are somehow able to offload iguodala or include him in the trade, they would have enough cap space to bring in giannis. but giannis is signed through 2021 so the bucks would have to agree to trade him to the heat.
unlikely to happen, but if the heat play it smart this offseason and it seems like there is interest there, they may be able to sign him in 2021 when he becomes a free agent.
That would make sense. It's possible that Giannis could bitch enough to get himself traded, but it's also unlikely that he'd pull a Pippen and flat out refuse to play without a trade. I don't see any good reason for him to stay with the Bucks. It's not that they haven't made some decent runs, but with their talent, I think it's fair to conclude that they've underperformed over time. I'm also not sure that you can build a championship team around Giannis or with him in a duo. However a strong trio and a good supporting cast could do it. I think Miami has enough firepower to rule the East with him, but it's hard to say whether they could win a championship without making a lot of little changes.
