And he’s a criminal because of domestic abuse such as violence and rape... right I’m the one lacking brain cells
So a criminal deserves to die?
I know he's a piece of shit, but because he's made some erroneous mistakes, he deserves to get 7 bullets, one entering his spinal cord?
Yes he did ignore police orders to stop, and walked away from them as he went to his car.
In police eyes he was basically asking for it by not cowering in fear before them.
I still think there were better ways the cops should've DONE a way better job of subduing or either tackling him. De-escalation is a process that they try to instill in you in the police academy.
Why does it always come to any person of color that is killed or severely injured by police or authorities, THE FIRST we LOOK at is that he's a criminal? Followed by a defense formed from a 'indepth,' investigation into the victim, clearly blaming him for his actions?
What about the killers that shot up schools?
It always ended with they were psychologically challenged and they were good people.
This is why people with decency are arguing. This is why colored people or minorities are perceived differently and not considered equal.
Yes there is injustice to white people also in these troubled times, I get that. A white person could kill a cop trying to arrest them and the world says well he's going to jail. A black person commits a crime or has some impending warrant, CHANCES ARE he's depicted as a disgrace, danger to society, thug, or even worse doesn't get the chance to be served justice in the court of law. They are simply executed because of the color of their skin. Instead of arguing about the crime he may or may not have committed, let's look at the facts that he wasn't given the rights like a typical person, he was shot in front of his kids, paralyzed and in the hospital.
Where is the human compassion for one another?
I get that he should've compiled and listened.
But since when does getting shot 7 times, and being paralyzed for life somehow justify these actions?
When did we stoop so low, that we refuse to give empathy?
One of my best friends got involved in a unfortunate situation with a gang banger and now he has a criminal record for life. He made some mistakes in the past when he was younger, but now he works with mentally disabled children and orphans so that they can have a better chance at life.
Does he deserve to get shot, because he has a record and is black/Hispanic?
