just wondering why it's relevant to call him a thug in this scenario. as it pertains to the shooting he was an innocent victim. the fact that he had a warrant out for him is irrelevant to the circumstances, but people drag that kind of thing into the conversation often with the effect of dehumanizing the victim

"sure he got shot in the back by police, but while we're mourning that injustice let's make sure to remember the guy had a warrant"

If this guy had his kids with him, then why was he out acting a fool? People act like he was innocently minding his own business and the cops just happened to roll up and gun him down. The cops were called on him because he was a danger to society.

Stop eliminating that part of the equation.

what exactly are you under the impression he was doing?

articles i've read said witnesses reported the police were called for a domestic disturbance and he was attempting to break up a fight between two women.

why was he walking away from the police when they had their weapons drawn on him? i don't know, you don't know. it is interesting that your gut instinct before actually knowing anything is to blame the victim
