Long story short, no "juice" on ML bets. You just get the odds that are presented (as i mentioned above).

First part is wrong. How can you bet 100 but lose 110 if you lose the bet.

Okay well if you want to get technical, and if you were in Vegas and walked to the counter and wanted to win $100 they would charge you $110. You would hand over $110, and then if you win you would get that $110 back PLUS the $100 winning.

I bet through a bookie, so it's all credit based. I put $100 on and i know that if i lose i'm losing $110.

It's straight forward. If you're betting on a single game in Vegas, you're going to get it at a -110 line. You get that all back if you win, but you don't WIN juice. Meaning you won't get an extra 10% if you win, you only lose it if you lose...so you want to win $100, you pay $110 at the counter and you either lose that whole $110 or you win $100 on top of it.

ML = no juice. You get the odds presented....


So are we all on the same page here? Or am i just being fucking crazy.

Yeah i completely regret entering this discussion now :rofl:

Problem is i bet through a bookie, so i haven't walked up to a counter and had to pay up front in forever. I literally just pay or collect at the end of the week if i bet. So that's what threw me off when i said "bet $100" thinking the juice is a given.
