Not to me. I actually do research a lot of different variables. I only give my picks I am putting real money on. Only $10 a game, but it adds up when you bet as many games as I do. You should have heard my bookie tonight when I placed those bets. He said I hope you win because almost everyone else bet the other side of these games...lol

Obviously most people do research..

but even the best handicappers can only get 56 or 57% in the long run.

no such thing as a lock in sports betting :D
