would like to see this go to 7 games

its a toss up for me at this point but giving the edge to the Pacers, sorry ant

All good bobby lol

A lot of people don't believe in the Knicks. The Pacers are one of the few teams I didn't want to face in the playoffs(Bulls, Pacers).

A lot of overreaction to game 1 has everyone counting us out. Everyone will become believers once we dismiss Indiana in 6 or 7.

We have Chandler and K-Mart.

J.R. Smith has been shooting like Toney Douglas and we still almost won game 1 and we blew them out by 30 game 2. Melo played horrible game 1 and they still only won by 7.

Pacers shot lights out and they only won by 7.

Who is going to score besides George? West? Well he better if they want to keep pace because Shumpert has George on lock.

Bring STAT back for game 2 and that's a whole other presence they have to account for. He may only play around 10-15 minutes but who is going to guard him? Hibbert is going to have to come out of the paint to guard him. He's going to live at the FT line.

I really think you have it the other way around.

I'm sticking to my guns. Obviously the Knicks are a more offensively prolific team but Indiana is far more effective on the other end of the ball. I believe that while both teams have adjustments to make, Indiana has less to adjust. Through the course of a 7-game series, even teams that struggle to score usually find ways to score. They just have to find things to exploit in the Knicks' defense. I don't believe that the Knicks are going to improve offensively over the course of the series however, because Indiana's system is so good. I don't mean that the Knicks are going to suck offensively for the rest of the series, but I don't believe that we'll see anything knew or innovative from them; they're a one-trick pony on that end of the floor. In other words, Indiana can adjust more easily to the Knicks than the other way around.

In series like this, I'm sticking to the consistency and defensive prowess of Indiana over the explosive, streaky offense of the Knicks.

All I will believe is that the Nicks will advance, and lose. Just say'n

Honestly the Nicks aren't as well rounded, I don't see them winning it. I think the Pacers will end it in 6.

Let me ask you this, do you expect J.R. to continue playing terrible? Because he's been flat out AWFUL and yet we only lost game 1 by 7 points and we blew them out the water by 30 game 2.

Even with that shoulder Melo scored 32 game 2, and he wasn't "on".

The Knicks main makeup are shooters, Melo, J.R. Felton, Shump, Novak, Prigioni, Kidd, Copeland.

Add STAT for a post presence and mid range.. Indiana has a lot to account for. Hibbert is going to have to come out opening the paint for us to attack.

JR has been playing poorly all playoffs. I don't think he's that good.

Melo hasn't been on at all these playoffs except maybe Game 3(?) vs the Celtics when he went off. But even still his Fg% has been awful and he's taking a lot of contested looks and getting lucky with them going in.

The Knicks just aren't doing that well, Stoudemire isn't that good and the Pacers can shit him down easily.

Fair enough, you're not a believer yet.

If I'm right, and I think I am, you'll be a believer at the end of this series :)

If not I will eat crow.

I was big on the Knicks at the start of the season, but they had sort of regressed by mid season. Ended really hot though. I was hoping that Woodson would be able to implement some sort of system that would make Melo into an efficient player but he still looks the same. I think their offense has been exposed in the playoffs, personally.

I like the Knicks as a whole, but for the record, if you perceive any disdain from me towards them, it's because of Melo. Never liked him, probably never will. I'm not impressed by nights when he shoots opponents out of the game, because for everyone one of those nights is a night where he shoots the Knicks out of the game. They impressed me in game 2 however with their play, and will turn me into a believer if they can play like that for the next 3-4 games.

There's no way they beat The Heat though.

Pacers in 5

12.99% (10 Votes)
Pacers in 6

36.36% (28 Votes)
Pacers in 7

11.69% (9 Votes)
Knicks in 5

2.60% (2 Votes)
Knicks in 6

20.78% (16 Votes)
Knicks in 7

15.58% (12 Votes)
Total Votes: 77

So the consensus is basically 37 to 30 n favor of Indy.

The 10 Pacers in 5 votes are comical.

I will eat crow for weeks if they beat us in 5. We have a better chance to beat them in 5 than they do us.

How are they any more comical than the Knicks in 5 votes?
Pacers are about to pick up 2 straight wins at home.
Puts them up 3-1. Grab one on the road. Seems likely tbh...
