No I sound like fan. People are getting pissed off.

Casuals are getting pissed off. Who cares about them. I don't care about fans wanting to be entertained during the regular season filling seats for the owners to make money. I care about a parade in Philly.

The only thing that matters is his availability in April...and hopefully May and June.

What examples are there that load management works?

Raps with Kawhi is the only one I can think of and they were completely stacked to cover Kawhis absence

Well they've never tried it before him Embiid to the extent of just holding him out b2b games by default. He has always been legit injured. Considering how worn down he has been entering the playoffs, it's worth trying. Anything to minimize opportunity for injuries in regular season games.

There is zero guarantee that he won't get injured on the playoffs, you know when the physicality ramps up. Don't most of his playoff injuries occur in the actual playoffs?

Never said there was a guarantee. There's no guarantee anything will ever work. It's the NBA.

All we know is they need to not take any risk with him. Healthy in April-June is the goal. Everything before that is just a waste to use him so much.

Then again bringing Paul George in and pairing him with Maxey as well as a better supporting cast should see Embiid's workload decrease. They shouldn't have to rely on Embiid AS much as years past. But that's only if PG plays of course.

It's just too early to panic though. 2 weeks into the regular season, people gotta chill out.

Nah. Fans pay for tickets and invest time to watch games. It's bullshit.

Point is Embiid has nothing else to prove regular season. He has led the sixers to the #1 seed, #2 seed, he has won MVP and been top 2 in voting year after year, he has several scoring titles, he has literally nothing else to prove in the regular season anymore lol.

His legacy now heavily sits on making a deep playoff run. Whatever that takes. If it means the Sixers are a lower seed but he's healthy then I'll take that 100/100 times over being a top seed but having him limping into the postseason just to get eliminated in the second round.

He played fuck all games last season, the Sixers had a low seed and he was STILL injured and choked in the post season anyway.

Why is this season going to be any different?

He was injured in the regular season, hence missing basically the entire second half of the season. Played in the playoffs with a bum knee that required surgery, and aggravated it multiple times against the Knicks. Dude was pretty much hobbling around the court all while playing with half a face that didn't work from Bells Palsy and still averaged 33/11/6 with incredible defense.

Embiid and Maxey balled out in the playoffs. Tobias "0 pts" Harris did not rofl.

So what’s gonna be different about this season?
