Embiid knocked out with a fully healthy team against an injury riddled team, in the first round.

Tatum reaching the Finals for a 2nd time and becoming a champion, leading his team in all categories.

Fully healthy team you say? Guy literally had a bum ACL and played with half a face with Bell's Palsy. And was STILL the best player in the playoffs lmao

You can slowly walk away now after getting absolutely murdered in this thread already a few posts back.

Embiid played real competition. Meanwhile Tatum had a bye to the Finals and when he got there and played a real team he shit the bed and watched his team carry him 😭

There are levels to this. One can dominate and still lose. The other can shoot 35% in the finals and be the 30th best player in the playoffs and still win a ring. The power of being on a stacked team and not playing any contending teams. 💯🤷‍♂️

Uh, what?

That's the first I've ever heard someone question the Eagles run to the SB lmao. I think you're clearly confused...

Not only did they absolutely destroy the best defense in the league in the NFC championship, and one of the best in recent modern NFL history, they also beat Tom Brady led Patriots in the SB. REALLY reaching with this one bud...

Tatum was bounced in 5 in the 1st round when Jaylen missed a series

Lol come on Corey. Please state who else was missing, e.g Kemba, Rob Williams etc.

Then please say who we played. The nets. With KD, Kyrie AND Harden all in their prime, playing all 5 games of the series together… for reference, they played like 13 together total. They WERE the best team, and then they all got injured immediately after this series.

Tatum was our solo player, and he was absolutely amazing in this series. Gigantic.

Wouldn’t kill ya to add a bit of context instead of being disingenuous

30th best player in the playoffs hahahaha you’re a joke.

Keep thinking EPM is the be all and end all.

Tatum was -58 in that series lmao. His team was outscored in the series by 56. They were literally more productive without him on the floor.

Classic Tatum putting up the numbers when it doesn't matter lol!!

Joel Embiid has played less than 50 games 4 times in his career. 2 years at the beginning of his career, 2016 (31 GP) where he won ROTY and last year (39 GP). I know we like to meme that the guy is not durable because he usually is either injured or gets injured during the playoffs, but his injury maladies during the regular season are overstated.

31 GP getting a rookie of the year award? I didn’t know that! Not deserving. Give to some rookie who played 70 Games. :o

Embidd gonna be 30 year old soon, not looking good to be playing 70 games for 5 more seasons. Lebron at age 34 played All 82 Games and all the way to Finals

Oh shit. I misremembered. Brogdon won ROY.

Also, you can't compare mortals to LBJ. He's an alien. I think he's played the most minutes of professional basketball if you count playoffs and Olympics. I'd sign him to that huge deal immediately if I were the Lakers, or any other team for that matter.
