when you say, win the east, do you mean represent the east in the NBA finals? if so, I don't think anyone on this subforum has ever said that so not sure where you're hearing that... on the other hand, if you mean finish #1 seed in the east after the regular season, that's totally different, but I don't think you mean that in this case.
