Most of those number one seeds are Western Conference dude. You knew what was being implied but chose to cherry pick a stat that favored your situation
Btw 538 has the 76ers as 47% likely to make the Finals, probably influenced by the fact they only have to really beat one good opponent
I’d say with odds that high and home court advantage throughout, it is a failure to miss this year (didn’t you claim the Bucks choked against the Raptors in literally the same situation Philly would be in this year?)
Yeah, but it was also when LeBron was in the East it didn't matter what seed he was he was going to the Finals. He's not in the East anymore, and it's open now for the taking.
Sixers should be in the Finals don't get me wrong i'm not doubting them getting there, barring some major injury. They're incredible at home, and by the time ECF's come around Philly will be allowing 100% capacity so Wells Fargo Center is going to be rocking which makes them VERY difficult to beat there. They've also improved tremendously this year on the road as well. Funny enough, the Sixers, Nets and Bucks all posted identical 20-16 road records this season.
Who knows what the Nets will look like when they're healthy and together though. We haven't really seen that much besides a few regular season games. They're such a wildcard at this point, while chemistry could be a major issue due to a lack of playing time together, they could also be dominant.
