76ers are in the worst catch-22. Embiid is DONE. Can not (amd could never) count on him. Untradeable. And Maxey continuously shows he’s trash when games get big. He’s just a minute/stat merchant in meaningless games. It’s not Embiid’s team. It’s not Maxey’s team. It’s just shit!

Advancing is a team accomplishment though. Need bigs and wings to play their part too, no guard is carrying a team by themselves. Embiid and Maxey played well that series but unfortunately nobody else did (ty Tobias Harris).

He had his appendix removed ffs. His knee hasn't been an issue for a while now. He was playing at peak Embiid MVP level this season when he was on the floor lol. Averaged 30 PPG over his last 30 games played. He's hardly DONE...clearly.

Just really unlucky. Health issues unrelated to things in his control the last few playoff runs unfortunately (Bell's Palsy and appendicitis).
