Simmons took 8 threes in 40 games, and he has less made threes in the entire season than Giannis' single game performance against Brooklyn

You don't have to score big to heavily impact a game

Simmons has dominated games recently without even hitting double figures. Just running the offense and doing everything else very well.

An aggressive scoring Simmons is the best Simmons, but I'd rather he play his game and be efficient than jack threes or take stupid shots and shoot a low percentage.

So now 5-6-5 is a “huge impact”, is this guy All-NBA or Tony Allen?

I mean last night wasn't his best night in terms of statistical production, but he came up SUPER clutch in OT taking b2b charges and then tipping in the game winner.

Simmons impact on the game can't be gauged by statistics, anyone around the league that watches the game closely knows that. He's super impactful even when he's not scoring, he just does everything and hustles so hard and of course impacts the game defensively so much too. We all saw how bad the Sixers were without him lol, he's critical for this teams success.




I don't need to defend him anymore though, if you haven't been watching Sixers games just say that lol. By knocking his play recently you're just showing that you're being a box score warrior

23-4 this season when all 5 starters are playing, far and away the best in the NBA.
