Went for a 5 mile run yesterday. Turned Pokemon go on for the hatching....

Was a progression run with a 2 mile recovery... 8:19, 7:32, 6:09 splits. Then 2 miles very slow. 4km total according to Pokemon go.

Today did a recovery day of 2 easy miles. 3 km.

Game makes no sense.

Weird, I ran 3.5 miles and hatched a 5km egg (started at 1.6/5) and a 2km egg and got started on another 5km

sounds like you're slow and thinking you ran more than you did

They track straight line stats every minute. So if your running in a straight line under 10km per hour it would track the entire thing. But if you're making turns it will only track the straight line distance of your last gsp update 1 minute ago.

At least that's what I've read. It's dumb as fuck

So it would think I'm cheating if I'm running faster in a straight line? So it probably registered the turns but not straight line stuff? That's gay as aids.

Might just go back to training without my phone in my hand. It's so uncomfortable anyway.
