I don't see them often enough to wait for a perfect one. If I had the candies I would evolve the shit outta it just for a charizard

I wait on the eevees because I catch so many of them. But I'm playing this game way more to collect 150 than to take over gyms and shit

i never really get eevees, i've got a flareon and a water eevee thus far. i honestly only see pidgey, spearow and the rat lol. one of my rats does 120 damage though which i assume is good

and same, i have yet to even fight in a gym

i only really like taking over gyms for the daily defender bonuses, which you only need to hold for a few seconds to get.

i'm much more into collecting and powering them up, i don't worry about ivs and moves and stuff too much.

what bonus do you get? like xp or something?

10 coins and 500 stardust per gym up to 10 gyms. Can only collect once every 21 hours. So if you're good enough to hold a few for a while you could get 100 coins a day but most people just get the 10
