for now, ~2 years and onward it'll be lebron for a long, long time

i dont get those that hate on either of these guys, both are excellent
lebron has more upside obviously due to age

right now i'd take kobe by a slight margin, still enough in his prime.
this years playoffs will determine a lot.

I hate on Kobe for one reason. I can't stand all the pure Homer biased Kobe fans. They are the only people on this site (sports section) that are more annoying then the Phillies homers in Baseball section.

I say Lebron, they both are great, they both have things that they're good and not-as-good at, but I prefer Lebron in any way. Kobe is too much of a superstar imo.

Not by miles, only thing he is really BETTER than Lebron is clutch-shooting and making huge circus shots. Maybe he isn't better at it tho, because Lebron isn't supposed to even take those circus shots or whatever. Kobe hogs the ball often and goes for something impossible. Nice, he made the shot!, but what if he didn't make it? ...
