He tried hard to get that finals MVP though in game 5. Really started gunning when the game was out of hand. He knows not getting any sort of MVP award was crushing to his career lmao. No longer the #1 in Boston.
I mentioned this before, there r games that Kobe went 6 for 25 and MJ 8 for 27 and both won the finals. Even struggling scoring but being aggressive in attack mode Draws double team n opens up threes n layups for teammates.
Most pple don’t consider Tatum mvp type player, but he’s one of the Top all NBA player due to having great Chemistry with his Team and being successful Iso scoring when needed. Rebounds n defense with his 6ft 9 size is always there.
Kiwi Leonard won FMVP but I always though Tim Duncan was the main guy 2014 championship, Iguodala won FMVP over Curry in 2015 finals, but Curry was the one cooking n pulling up from 30 Ft! Open up the floor for Klay AND igudala to score easier.
Tatum is worth 40-45 Mil a year for any team max contract. But for Celtics current team built with Chemistry he’s worth Super Max 50-60 mil per year. Should take less though n give to white and add Power forward / center Depth.
