I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that he has little to no freedom on this team

Look at how Kuzma played last night...no chance Tatum is ever going to get a chance to do that his rookie year. We'd never give him the ball 5 possessions in a row and ask him to shoot. Especially with 20 seconds on shot clock.

He's still struggling to get open at times, but when he does it's usually a highlight reel

Tatum barely takes any contested shots (plenty of games he goes off course)
T-Ro should keep driving and doing those pull-up mids. He's not good at creating his own 3 at all imo. Aside from maybe his between the leg, stepback 3.
