TRADE HIM ALREADY PLS. But I must say, with his comments, his trade value is dropping faster than Antonio Brown. He needs a team, maybe like a championship experienced team, to help him recover his image & play with excellence & humility. I know the perfect team for him.

The guy can go fuck himself, that's what he can do. He was coddled for YEARS in Philly, he was given EVERYTHING he needed to thrive and win a Championship. Had a lot of people (including myself) defending him and supporting him despite his inability to even attempt a jump shot, but that playoff series against the Hawks was just the final straw for 99.9% of his supporters.

Simmons is a tremendous talent, but he's mentally soft. He grew up in a system where he was always "the guy" and everyone always said yes to him, he was never put in his place and reprimanded. Hence why he's so hurt about Doc Rivers FINALLY saying something negative about him after game 7 (after defending him all fucking season). He's not built for a city like Philly that actually demands players to work hard and show heart. He's fragile and he needs to go to a city that will overlook his laid back "i don't care" attitude regardless of how good he is.

Funny enough, he's a tremendous defender. Usually guys that are described in such a way would be lazy on defense but he's the opposite. Elite defensively, but checks out on offense in the playoffs lmao.

Doubtful that Philly could even get CJ for him now.
Philly played their hand and swung for the fences.
Simmons is not worth a superstar talent. Never has been.
He's a taller Tony Allen.

Ye okafor, noel, fultz, and now simmons. All the top prospects surely thrived at philly

Well Noel did thrive and had an amazing rookie season (one of the best ever defensively for a rookie), but he was overtaken by some guy named Joel Embiid.

Embiid panned out well at least

lmao wut

Nothing like Tony Allen aside from being an elite defender in general, and Simmons is 6'10'' (Allen is like 6'3''/6'4'') and Simmons is more versatile as a result (capable of guarding all 5 positions on the floor at a high level).

But offensively? That's the strangest comparison i've ever heard. Simmons may not shoot jumpers, but he's always in/around top 5 in the league in assists per game and has some of the better court vision and passing ability around the NBA, he runs point and has good handles, and he's a much better finisher and post scorer than Allen ever was.

I hope you were just trolling :wallbash:

Nah

Still no reason to sell low, just let him rot and lose money. I'm content with watching him rot and lose tons of money every week. Let my boy Maxey get his shine.

That’s the one thing not many people are talking about is how Tyrese can actually benefit in his development from the madness.

Yeah, no teams want to give up much if anything for him, so I bet he starts the season with Philly. Flourish ? Nah, he’s done with this team, but he’ll play decent enough to get picked up by someone else

Sixers won’t do anything that drops them down the standings for no reason. They know they aren’t going to get a even dollar to dollar trade for him right now, or even 75 cents on the dollar. They had a few targets and have been rejected on all of them, mainly because his playoff performance and shit attitude. There is only one route left, they will fine Ben everyday until he comes to camp, he will re establish himself as a low end star (that he is), DM will lower his ridiculous asking price and he will be jettisoned to the first sucker that falls for it.

According to Zach Lowe and Bill Simmons, the 76ers had a deal lined up sending Ben for Harden last year. Ben knew about it and they didn't try to flip him after the trade backfired.
