Imagine being such a bad defensive big man they had to bring Rudy Gobert to help you out. Come on KAT LOL

Jazz on the other hand.. meh. Joe Ingles gone, Gobert gone, Conley still on the team. Guess itโ€™s rebuild season. Bout time. Minny tryna win now lol

No bro, not only has he been getting hurt, in his return his shooting has been a terrible 31% from 3 & fg % of a mediocre 44%. If your telling me he is coming off the bench, then sure great, but thatโ€™s now what everyone is making it out to be.

You're right Dom, Brogdon only shoots 40%+ from 3 when he is wide open. Even going back to the 2018-2019 season he shot 31% from 3 when the nearest defender was within 6 feet or less from him. That trend has been consistent since he went to the Pacers

Lol you're talking about a sample size of 36 games AND coming off injury....??? What is this conversation

I guess we'll just forget the 297 games played prior to that where he was a 39% 3PT shooter, right?

You're tripping bro, acting like that's not a good addition. I hate the Celtics and would love to knock it but even I can't deny how beneficial it is. Brogdon immediately becomes one of the best bench guards in the league. That man has been good for 20/6/5 each of the last 3 seasons and now he's part of the second unit ๐Ÿ‘€

Yeah and he gives the Celtics the ability to run a Smart/Brogdon/Brown/Tatum/Williams (or Horford) lineup at times, which I'm sure they'll utilize a lot against some teams giving them 5 strong defenders and plenty of playmaking.

Brogdon will be 6th man in the rotation though, which is a pretty nice luxury. Stevens said they need more playmaking and Brogdon gives them more.

Yea I'd be over the moon as a Celtics fan considering they got to trade their trash and the 2023 FRP for someone who, when healthy, is a high IQ facilitator and defender with length and can get to the rim.

It's a low risk high reward play. Brogdon does have a degenerative foot condition that will never get better, so if it were me I'd stash Brogdon as much as possible during the regular season.

Dang...

So basically we get pretty much 4 unprotected 1st round picks, Pat Bev (hate him but he's a good defender), Vanderbilt (decent small ball big), Malik Beasley (good defender), Leandro Bolmaro (who??) and the 2022 guy drafted who is basically Gobert Jr but has offense.

I like gobert but man we are set up for the future big time, or can swing so much with all these picks for a big name player to pair with Don.

I don't thing king Aine is done.

Jazz have acquired 6 1st round draft picks in the last 24 hours.

Durant said he wants to go to heat but only if they keep Kyle Lowry, Bam & Jimmy, lmfao ayo I am sooooo tired of these wannabe GM player generation that has no idea how making a team works.

โ€œI want you to trade me to a team but only if they donโ€™t trade anyone back for me.โ€ ๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿซ  OK

Bam can't be involved in the trade. Something about being a designated player. Windy talked about it in depth this morning. There's alot of players that aren't available for trade because only one designated player can be acquired through trade. Ben simmons is their designated player already. Something like that. There's alot of hoops to jump through with moving Durant. It's going to have to be extremely draft capital heavy

don't expect Danny Warchest to cash in assets this early in the game. more likely IMO he will look to flip Mitchell for another haul of picks.

honestly I think it's the best thing to do, would be satisfied with that as a Jazz fan.

If D wade wasn't an owner and very good friends with Mitchell, I think I would agree.
