I'm not sure the Lakers are as good as people think. LeBron will turn 40 during the season. Sooner or later it won't be there...
What third star are they going to add to the mix? James Harden? DeMar DeRozan? Stop it. It's a team of old guys. Am I wrong?
The NBA is about young superstars. It always will be. We were blessed with that last generation of superstars. But they're old now.

Lakers are washed for sure as Bron ages you need to rely on the brow more but thats not a good call

Ah yes, living off the past. You'd make a nice Cowboys fan.

Enjoy living in misery for the foreseeable future rofl.

We need to talk about this for a second like what counts as actually living in the past.

Obviously not Dallas level you must be facetious but what does count?

Raptors won 5 years ago and we have like one dude left from that team.. Im not sure that is living in the past, maybe it is

But When the Warriors won like 2 years ago, which, again, was the most important win because it adds two years to their dynasty not just one, that definitely is NOT in the past. They still have Curry even.

I think we need to define an actual line for what the past is

Kawhi popped into Toronto, handed them a ring, and said he's getting the fuck outta Canada.

Be grateful. He hand delivered a title to Toronto and still left rofl

thats a weird way of saying Masai Ujiri made the trade of the century at the same time firing the coach of the year and somehow adding a Gasol at the deadline so that we could ride the red carpet all the way to Larry O B.

fuck yeah im grateful

KJ Martin is about to be the biggest winner of the offseason by far. Guy is about to get PAID with a balloon contract, once all other contacts and cap space are finalized utilizing bird rights to give him an inflated contract over the cap. He could see like $12-15M+ million a year from the 76ers with only the first year guaranteed. All for the sole purpose of trading him for a bigger piece.

Paying a guy WELLLLL over his worth just to be a human trade exception during the season and fill salary in their next move is beautiful work from Morey. I'm sure KJ and his dad aren't complaining though 😂

Likely trade targets they will go after with his ballooned contract (and pick compensation ofc):

- Bobby Portis (12m)
- Dorian Finney-Smith (14m)
- Larry Nance Jr. (11m)
