Imagine comparing Middleton to Harden and Butler. Two guys who could be debated for top 25 all-time or at worst top 50 all-time. Meanwhile Middleton at his absolute peak was a fringe top 25 player among active players.
Just goes to show how much more dominant Giannis really is compared to Embiid considering their resumes.
LOL this is such a reach 🤣🤣🤣
Embiid only had Butler during one playoff run, and that was 4-5 years ago. He was also acquired mid way through the season. Didn't even get a training camp with Butler. That was also when they ran into the Raptors in the second round and went 7 games with them. The same Raptors that destroyed the Bucks in 6 games that same postseason. Plus, Embiid was not in his prime yet and wasn't at the MVP level he has been at the past 3 years.
And Harden is literally known for coming up short in the playoffs, no? He was awful last year in the playoffs, and he has been good in 2 games this series, but awful in the other 2. This is new for Embiid to have a guard hitting big shots in the playoffs though. Certainly never got that from Simmons.
Harden has NEVER had a playoff run like Middleton had during the Bucks Championship run. Ever. Quit reaching. Middleton played like a bonifide superstar that playoff run, one of the most clutch playoff runs in recent history.
