lol

"Embiid has been stuck on 37pts"

ya no shit Doris, he hasn't even been playing because they were up 20, not because of some random bench scrub on nets.

My source is Ben Maller
Call him a liar then. Not me.

But I'll go with his word over yours, sorry

Reddit breaking it down for some
7 of his 12 assists that game were recorded with Favors on the floor instead of Gobert. Here are all his field goals that game:

Transition layup against Mitchell
Put back tip
Transition layup against Gobert
Bank jumper from 7 feet after losing O'Neal
Rolls to the basket for layup in a pick and roll with Favors involved (Gobert off the court)
Attacks Favors, and-one layup
Splits Ingles/Niang, transition layup
Tip-in
Turnaround fadeaway bank shot on Ingles
Turnaround hook shot on Ingles
Step back jumper on Ingles
Driving bank shot over Gobert
Open transition dunk
Layup against Niang

Maybe this guy is lying

Your stats are from nba.com lol that's where your source got them

And my explanation above is literally the exact description ON nba.com..

Plz go back and watch the game....guaranteed you would edit your posts. Gobert couldn't stick Simmons that was obvious.

As long as Embiid doesn’t miss too much more time and Jokic doesn’t go on a absolute tear, Joel should be MVP

Here, watch it for yourself. As you can see Gobert was on him to start the game, which quickly changed because Simmons was going off.

Ben Simmons FG's made on his way to 42 points:

1st FG - Simmons defensive rebound, goes coast to coast and burns Gobert who doesn't even reach half court by the time Simmons is scoring on the other end.
2nd FG - putback dunk over Gobert after the missed FG attempt by Harris. Gobert failed to box out and gets dunked on.
3rd FG - layup right on Gobert at the rim
4th FG - drives across the paint with O'Neale as the initial defender and Gobert help defending in the paint. Gobert stands there a few feet away like a statue and watches Simmons shoot a baby jumper right in front of him.

Mind you, these 4 baskets above were all in the first 4-5 minutes of the 1st quarter.

5th FG - driving layup on Favors
6th FG - driving layup on Favors
7th FG - transition layup as he splits between both Ingles and Niang for the dunk
8th FG - offensive rebound and putback with Gobert as his primary defender (Gobert overplaying help defense and jumps out of the play)
9th FG - layup right on Gobert at the rim
10th FG - turnaround post hook shot on Bogdonavic
11th FG - another turnaround hook in the post on Bogdonavic
12th FG - yet another turnaround hook shot on Boogdonavic
13th FG - running hook shot across the line in Gobert's face with O'Neale as the initial defender and Gobert stepping up as the help defender.
14th FG - transition layup over Niang with Gobert trailing behind him once again too slow to catch up and make a play
15th FG - another transition bucket burning Gobert down the court for the easy fast break dunk

The amount of times Gobert gets SMOKED in transition and isn't even a factor is pretty ridiculous lol. Jazz started the game with Gobert matched up man to man on Simmons, but quickly changed that and ended up putting O'Neale on him later on with Gobert still failing as a help defender in many cases. Gobert stood NO chance defending Simmons 1 on 1, he's just way to fucking slow lol. Simmons is arguably the fastest player in the league and to put someone with cement feet on him and think that will work just because Simmons doesn't shoot jumpers is pretty funny.

Yeah he has to stay healthy the remainder of the season. He missed a good chunk of games, but so have the other MVP candidates like LeBron and Harden.

If Sixers get the #1 seed and Embiid remains healthy from here on out playing at this level, he should definitely be MVP.
