The Warriors outspend every team in the league by a significant margin. Why even have a hard cap if a team like the Warriors can just go deep into the luxury tax? Granted that most of the owners could theoretically match that spending and not lose sleep over it, but its not realistic because of the opportunity cost not justifying the risk for most of the small market teams at a minimum… maybe some of the bigger markets could do it like Boston, Miami, LA
