you won't have enough candy to evolve every one of your pidgeys, but you get an extra candy for transferring them.

so calculate how many you need to transfer to still get the maximum amount of evolutions you possibly can based on how much candy you have/will get from transfers, then transfer them, collect the candies, and evolve every pidgey you have left.


if you have tons of pidgeys you may be able to get an extra evolution or two out of them by transferring

If it has Lick as well then you have the perfect moveset. Without Lick vaporeon might be better I'm not 100% sure haven't calculate dit.

You want to transfer enough pidgeys to evolve as many as you can. So for example, if you have 100 pidgeys candies, & 20 pidgeys, you only have enough to evolve 8 ( 12 x 8 = 96 ) That leaves you with 4 candies & 12 pidgeys. Then you can transfer 8, so you have another 12 candies to evolve another pidgey.

But then you only have 4 pidgeys to evolve.

Just use it as an item. It's called a lucky egg.

Yep.

Save it though for when your pokemon collection is full and then use it and evolve all your base evolution pokemon at once for 1k xp each

and i'm thinking ghengis khan or whatever using double edge was the highest damaging move in the early games.
