Why did we trade him again? Because James Harden was tired of his leadership skills and then he wanted out? We let Harden dictate too much!
Chris Paul this season is putting up his most APG (8.7), PER (23.15) AST/TO ratio (3.8) and double-digit assist games (18) since his LA Clipper days.
He’s also averaging a career-high FT% (93%). Point God > Father Time.
The Phoenix Suns are going to be a fun team to watch in the NBA Playoffs. Especially if they end up in that 1st or 2nd seed. They may take the Western Conference if LeBron and AD aren't 100% and suffer the 7 to 10 play-in Tournament. That's going to be extra games on their legs just to reach a first-round matchup with a top contender on the road. Not exactly the Disney bubble this year even though the crowd atmosphere is limited.
Teams like the Jazz, Suns, Clippers and Nuggets are quite scary. If the Lakers can repeat it would be quite the accomplishment.
I'd even put a Lakers repeat right there with the 1995 Houston Rockets repeating as a sixth seed. They had the toughest road!
