Career 38% 3pt shooter. Struggled last year but he's solid regardless, and proven. This is a guy who put up a 50/40/90 season a few years ago.

Brogdon is great on a team in win-now mode who needs that one extra player to put them over the top. He can make his own shot and get to the basket. He's a lesser version of Jrue who helped Milwaukee get over the hump, but similar playing style and role except he won't be relied on to be a top 3 player on his team (like Jrue is) which is even better for Boston. I fucking hate the Celtics but Brogdon for this cheap to be a 6th or 7th man and backup guard is a terrific pickup....if he can stay healthy.

He USE to be 50/40/90 & he’s fallen far from that. Keep hearing news that he is “the true PG the Celtics needed,” when you can barely consider him a point guard, he is score first mentality. They were a productive bench away from being champions not a fucking “true PG” away lol. I use to love Brogdon but there is a REASON why he was so cheap.

Malcolm Brogdon is ass he isnt making your team better

Past two seasons (92 games) he has averaged 20/6/5 on 45/36/86 efficiency. Right at league average shooting from outside, and he brings playmaking, defense and overall scoring ability to the bench unit. As much as I would love to hate this, and i hope he flops, this is a GREAT move.

Celtics gave up no core players and added Malcolm Brogdon to their BENCH. Not to be a starter, but to their bench.
