"why nobody can defend him without 2 or 3 guys being thrown at him" was this describing Shaq? He needed the same despite this "lack of skill" compared to Embiid
BEATUFIUL thing asking big men to be everything BUT big men....GJ Embiid
Bro, you couldn't even double team Shaq back then for the most part because of zone defense rules until later in his career.
Nobody could stop him one-on-one so they changed the zone defense rules. He didn't have to deal with nearly as much double or triple teams or schemes. There was only one viable strategy vs Shaq which is to have a big center of your own and pray because you couldn't send random perimeter players at him to double.
Embiid sometimes gets doubled or triple team as soon as he gets an entry pass, even if it's not anywhere near the paint. Shaq didn't have to deal with that shit.
And idk what you guys are even arguing about...it's not even about whether who's more dominant.
Embiid is undoubtedly more skilled than Shaq. He has a full repertoire of moves of guys from Kobe, Mj, Dirk, KD, and Hakeem. How is this even an argument?
This is like asking whether Kyrie Irving or Giannis is more skilled.....
