Beeen sittin at my house for 3 hrs no pokemon

I missed out on one earlier tonight. Was walking w/ my girlfriend and we were about 50 feet away. These three dudes got there shortly before we did and two of them caught Hitmonchan and he disappeared off the map

Any suggestions on which pokemon to upgrade? How much does the species matter?

What's a good cp for the first pokemon I level up to be when I catch it? Been saving my dust so far.

What games are you playing? I would suggest Marvel Heroes 2016 if you haven't played it yet.

after 12 hours, i can confirm my basement has no pokemons

Voyaging head to the east side with me to catch some zapdos? Hopefully we end up with only a couple stab wounds and no gunshots, also bring a shitty phone or don't expect to keep any Pokemon you catching.
