Yes, and what does this have to do with Tobias Harris?

Brett Brown coddled the fuck out of Simmons. The team gave Simmons every chance to improve which is why I laugh when Kimtown says the Sixers were too hard on him.

Bro they traded Jerami Grant when he was scoring like 8 PPG and shooting 39% from the field. He didn't break out for like another 5 years after that...

And we'll do that trade 100 out of 100 times. Traded Grant for Illyasova and Maxey. The Maxey pick wasn't lucky, we just finally got a real GM in Morey who knew what he was doing. Maxey was his first pick with the team, and he nailed it. He also nailed this recent draft trading our first round pick for De'Anthony Melton. Just straight up clutch moves from Morey.

Soooo yeah

For the criticism Simmons took specifically as a result of the Hawks series, Doc and Embiid shared just as much blame IMO. It was unfair to shift the blame on Simmons for losing that series, plus there was some really messed up family issues Simmons was dealing with at that same time

He quit on the team, he stopped trying, he literally abandoned his job out there lol. Fuck him for being mentally weak and quitting.

Doc simply said "I don't know the answer to that right now" when asked if Simmons was a championship point guard of the future after game 7 loss vs the Hawks. It's not like he called him out and put him down publicly, which you seem to think he did. Embiid kinda called him out, but hell can we blame him? Imagine if he was playing with Kobe, Shaq, Jordan, etc. Those guys would have demanded publicly that the front office trade Simmons immediately LOL.

Why doesn’t Doc ever take accountability for his trash rotations? As a HC he is responsible for how many 3-1 collapses? At some point you have to take ownership of that kind of failure, Doc aways deflects it. Embiid is just as bad on this regard, when has he ever said that a playoff series loss was on him?

Blake was coming off his athletic prime in Detroit but added more to his bag. I really respected his efforts to put it all on the floor in the playoff series vs Milwaukee even though it was clear they had no real chance of winning. That being said it was a desperation move to make the playoffs which small market teams are prone to do. The Bucks under Kohl ownership and Hammond as GM made a lot of shitty make the 8th seed moves so I know it firsthand lol
