Once Middleton got injured in the series against Chicago I did say that the likely Eastern rep would be Boston but they’d fall short because of dead legs. They can’t sustain the way all of their starters log heavy minutes on a consistent basis. Go back and look at the Chicago Bulls under Thibs. Rose, Boozer, Noah, and Deng all had injury issues after multiple seasons of being ran hard by Thibs. The same thing will happen to the Celtics if they don’t load manage their stars better.
Tatum will be an MVP candidate but he will need a very compelling story given how good his wingman is compared to all of the other candidates, as well as the fact that only Curry has a better overall team than Tatum.
Didn't really have time for that last year considering the disgusting 1st half
Should have no problems keeping them fresh this season
Let's hope the Celtics and Bucks can be 100% by the time they meet in the ECF again. Don't see the others competing.
Maybe Bucks would have won with Middleton. Maybe the Celtics would have had an easier time with Rob healthy, though unlikely because Giannis is just that good...no way to know. Giannis went god mode and the Celtics just found a way.
I just want a healthy series.
