Agreed

Also, it looks like JB is on an absolute mission this season, so maybe your comparison might be correct anyway

Hate to say it but the Celtics are primed to take a leap. Tatum into MVP contention, Jaylen into elite running mate territory, and Brogdon the perfect 4th option (while giving up next to nothing)

Celtics will go back to the Finals if 2 of the 3 occur:

Brogdon is healthy for the playoffs
Horford still productive
Timelord is healthy for the playoffs

Horford and Rob are easily the biggest question marks. They're relying on grandfather time to be generous to them and Rob Williams broken knee to magically become reliable.

Sham recently reported that Rob's return has been extended after a setback and he'll be out 3-4 months and likely not return until the second half of the season now.

Well said

Hopefully Tatum and Brown stick together because when they have games like yesterday we are almost unbeatable.

Brogdon has a degenerative foot so he isn’t exactly a slam dunk to be healthy for a deep playoff run either. They’ve got injury prone pieces but if it comes together at the right time they’ll be unbeatable

That’s 3-4 month TOTAL absence (he did his knee a month ago iirc)

So 2-3 months longer. Should have him ripe to go for playoffs which is the main thing. I’d rather him injured now than then.

He’s absolutely right other than the top 20 thing

LeBrons a stat padder at this point. Still an unreal player and likely top 10 give or take, but he’s not the winner he once was.

The cream of the NBA have certainly gone past him.

Bruh what are we expecting from a 38 year old with 20 years of nba seasons wear on his body lol

???

I’m not saying he’s a bad player or he should be carrying the lakers to wins… just justifying my reasons why he’s not longer a top 3 player in the league

Like yeah, he’s in the twilight of his career, but that isn’t an excuse to say he’s still the best. That’s the reason he’s no longer the best.

Yea but he was originally supposed to be back much sooner. This is the second time it has been pushed back which isn't good.

The team’s original expectation before training camp was that Williams would be out just 4-6 weeks for undergoing the knee procedure. However, that return timeline was extended to 8-12 weeks as a target return for basketball activities following the knee surgery back in late September. For the second straight time during training camp, that return timeline has been extended, this time to a 3-4 month total absence according to Charania after Williams receivedthe PRP injection
.

"I'm told his hope is sometime in December or January, but it could even be later than that," Charania said on FanDuel TV's "Run It Back" show.
