Nope
Nets already own the 76ers 2023 first round pick, as well as their 2027 first round pick protected 1-8.
The Sixers also already traded their 2025 first round pick (protected - OKC) and because of the Stepien rule they can't trade firsts in consecutive years, so 2024, 2026, and 2028 can't be traded. Essentially leaving them with 2029 to trade but that's it because of the 7 year rule.
Didn’t know that, tough break for the 76ers because if they had those picks and swaps available I think they could have had Embiid Maxey Harden and Durant all on the same team. That’s at least one ring if health holds up. Since they don’t have those picks, that pretty much eliminates their chances even with Maxey and Thybulle on the table.
Phoenix, LA Clippers, Memphis, and Denver have the best mixture of contending appeal, management, and assets to get it done then. OKC has the best slew of picks and the hometown status but it really doesn’t make sense unless they can slap together some stars to pair with Durant.
I read something that Miami can’t include Bam in a deal and Herro just isn’t as appealing as the Heat believe him to be.
I’d love to see Jerry West put Kawhi, PG13, and Durant together just to stick it to the Lakers. They could do it but they’d have to mortgage their future.
Denver could do Murray + MPJ. Jokic paired with Durant would be sick.
Phoenix has a lot of choices to make a deal work, the most objectionable piece being Booker but still somewhat realistic. More likely to be around Bridges, Ayton, or Cam.
Memphis has a lot of flexibility and it would be fun to see Morant have a lethal running mate.
