I really like what the Nets did. They got a great insurance deal for Harden who had a player option and could easily have left in the off season. Really good return and future secured.

What a HUGE L for Philly if they don't win in the next 2 seasons though.

Harden got injured in the playoffs last year and absolutely sucked against the Bucks. Grats to him for cooking my play-in Celtics though  He spent the entire offseason rehabbing his injury. Despite playing most of the games without both of the other stars together, Harden is only averaging 22.5 on 41.41% the lowest since his rookie season. His 3% is the worst of his career too. Is he even healthy?

He'll be fatter and getting less FTs when extension time comes....$233 million/4 years. Can you just imagine the back end of that contract?

Philly better win in 2 years

Harden was playing on an injured hamstring against the Bucks in that second round, he was moving at like 50% at best and barely took any shots. Only played like 3 of those games too. Hardly a reflection of who he is lol.

I'll bet any amount of money that we see Harden's efficiency improve on the 76ers by the end of this season.

Look at who he has been playing with in Brooklyn. God awful players who most are not even NBA caliber or fringe guys. He had hardly played with KD, Kyrie or Harris.

He's going to be a massive upgrade and the best guard the 76ers have had since Allen Iverson, easily.

By the end of the season let’s include the playoffs. He will disappear as always

Define "fails in the playoffs" for Harden though? Just not winning it all i guess?

Averaged 28/11/7 in the playoffs last year against the Celtics as they 4-1'd them.

His 3 playoff runs before that in the three seasons before that in Houston? He played in 40 playoff games and averaged 30/7/6.

Idk where this narrative that he's the problem in the playoffs comes from, but he has always shown up and produced. He's the best guard that Embiid has ever played with, and the best guard the Sixers have had since Iverson (and statistically speaking - better than Iverson).

Harden is exactly what the Sixers have been missing, a big time shot creating guard that can also facilitate and run the offense at a high level.

Harden averages 30+ a game in the playoffs every season.

Meanwhile, we had this from the guy he's replacing:

Honestly, can we take your opinion serious at this point?

Here's what you had to say like 6 months ago:

Lmao bruh Simmons ain't a star, which is what I said, superstar/star whatever. Kid does one thing well, play good def. You've been making excuses, he's young this that, he has time to develope a shot. You've said this many times before. But there is no improvement, he's so bad at shooting that teams give the dude ridic amount of space and just clog up lanes vs him. He's a solid passer too I guess, and can grab somr boards. He ain't no star/superstar, barely an Allstar.

Quote (Vtrix @ Jul 14 2021 04:31pm)
Simmons isn't a superstar nor is he worth any return a superstar would get. Extremely limited in what he can do. Dude needs to be 5th scoring option on the floor.

And here's what you're saying now:

Quote (Vtrix @ Feb 10 2022 01:58pm)
Horrible trade, Harden is the biggest loser in nba history. He's not going to make this team better, just like everywhere he goes. Has 0 intangibles, doesn't have it. Comes to camp looking like a fat slob, never puts in the work. Dog shit defender.

Edit/ nets get way better.

Make it all make sense
