unless Morey shocks the world with a beneficial trade involving Simmons, the 76ers aren't title contenders

pretty much all neutral fans don't think Simmons is netting a top 15 player unless Morey throws in picks/Maxey/Thybulle which we all know he wont because he is as stingey as Danny Ainge

Simmons is dogshit what Philly should do is declare they will buy him out then sue him and not pay him a cent while they legally have the cleared up cap space to sign a PG in Jan/Feb although the market is not hot atm.

Then Simmons hopefully gets a drug addiction after 76ers win the judgement and dont pay him a cent plus take back legal fees... and we see pictures of him in an Australian Ditch somewhere in a few years... one can only hope.

IMO the best possible talent they could get with Simmons not involving Maxey, Thybulle, or picks would be Simmons for Kyrie

the problem is that Philly would be reluctant to do that for 2 reasons. 1) Kyrie is known to be unavailable for a variety of reasons 2) the fastest way to get fired as a GM is to help one of your biggest rivals win, Simmons would be a nightmare on the Nets

He has literally been an All-Star for the past 3 seasons, and even made an All-NBA team in that time. While being 1st team All-Defense two of those years.

Even if he peaked at 24 (rofl), he's still at an All-Star caliber level that was never the question. The question has always been when is he (if ever) going to take that next step to superstar status and when will he be good in the 2nd round+ in the playoffs and not be a lil bitch and play aggressively.
