The United States of America was literally founded in Philly KID, the signing of the Declaration of Independence and National Constitution. Put some respek on the name.

As far as sports fans, Philly > Boston and it's not even close. Boston fans from Boston are racist, easily have the most annoying accent in America, and are soft compared to Philly fans.

Boston fans are louder and more passionate. Even JJ reddick stated it the last time sixers came to Boston and got dicked down in the playoffs

Boston has the worst fans because of the Patriots, Celtics are whatever.

Philly and Boston are both up there, but nobody is topping Philly fans in the crazy, passionate, loud, obnoxious, asshole department. Nobody.

Boston accent is the wort though, easily the most annoying accent in America. Just sounds so painful, mf's can't even use the R in their sentences.

How many championships has the city of philadelphia won?

Boston is definitely not better for sports overall. Their pro teams have won more Championships, sure, but they don't compare to Philly when it comes to producing great athletes. Philly is known as one of the best basketball cities (from HS to college) and obviously known as the fight town being known for the boxing as many of the all-time great boxers are from and/or trained. I mean the state of PA in general is a football and baseball powerhouse state too.

Boston pro teams had some pretty insane stretches of winning no doubt. Historically their pro sports teams have definitely been more successful in terms of Championships, no doubt about that. That has always led to a lot of new bandwagon fans though through the years, where as a city with fans that are passionate and not winning proves they're die hard.
